Milan, an important joint for migratory flows, is getting more and more multicultural. Historically, it has been a city open to foreigners and today it is living a sort of encountering/conflicting phase among many different cultures, a very difficult phase. In the attempt of changing the xenophobic course and of trying to make the multiculture as one of the basic elements of social life, it is necessary to give a start to a conversation, without forgetting all the features of each culture. The social theatre has been chosen in this context as a universal language that can be comprehensible and expressive at the same time. Through some lab activities, that are more important than the representation, the social theatre plays an important role on relationships in urban areas.

Lab81 is a theatre composed by several theatrical laboratories and a big space for the stage play. Read in italian language to know more about it!
