yangki by Sondra Alexander has just released a new eco-friendly wallcovering collection called Haight-Ashbury, inspired by tie-dye and the expressive energy of the “Summer of Love.”
San Francisco-based designer Sondra Alexander has lived and worked in the Haight-Ashbury district for twenty-five years, thus the name of the collection. There are six colors and patterns in the collection that were drawn from her eclectic neighborhood. Hand-dyed in Sondra’s studio, each wallcovering is made from organic rice paper and finished with nontoxic water-based paints.
