Developed by the Fraunhofer Institute for Mechanics of Materials IWM,
the odor-emitting helmet features technologies that could be used in a
number of other areas as well. According to PSFK, it “contains polymer
materials constructed with micro-capsules of odoriferous oils which
burst when damaged.”
