the exquisite clock is a timepiece that plays on the idea that time is everywhere. this clock uses photos of numbers found in everyday life and puts them together in a physical clock, a website and a mobile application. the project was developed by joao henrique wilbert at fabrica under creative director andy cameron. the clock uses a large database of number images that are sorted by the number they depict and various tags. this allows users to create clocks made from specific things, like pencils, wires or clothes. anyone can add images to the database, based on specific specifications. you can visit the website to see the clock in action and iphone users can also download the clock as an application. the creators have also created physical installation of the clock at various events using LCD monitors and projectors. one such installation was covered on designboom during new york design week.
